When you are writing books set at different points of your series' in-universe chronology like I'm currently doing with my 2^nd Amderesta The Alcasian Conflict book and 11^th Amderesta The 3^rd/4^th Republic Series book, keeping the in-universe chronology straight can be a challenge at times. Especially with two concurrent book series set alongside a particular book in the series. The aforementioned 2^nd Amderesta The Alcasian Conflict book is set alongside the sixth through the eighth chapters of 9^th Amderesta The 3^rd/4^th Republic Series book for example. Thus any references to concurrent events would have to come from those chapters.
